Groover was the brother-in-law of celebrity chef Paula Deen and was the woman’s “spiritual advisor."

SNAP fears there may be other victims of Groover in the area who are scared to come forward and report. The group also believes that neighbors may know of valuable information that can help victims. They will be urging people to talk to their children, friends and neighbors about abuse and report anything they know to law enforcement, no matter the offender.
